On the plus side - if there's such a thing in this shower of shite show by Everton - Alcaraz was bought by Martinez at Wigan, and he brought him to Everton. If that's his assessment of defenders - and I've mentioned before I'm doubtful about his ability to spot a good defender because they never had one all the while in his time at Wigan - then we don't have any fears about Everton overtaking us in the next few seasons when Distin hangs up his boots and Jagielka ages further.

It was, I don't blame Everton for the predicament we're in now, but I blame them for a lack of ambition and clearly being more preoccupied with hoping we fail, than hoping their team wins. That's a disgrace really and shows their small club mentality. Fuck them, I'm not gonna absolve them of blame for that shite on show.
