Weekend's Games

Everton have been shocking, letting Chelsea lead easily.
I thought their keeper should have done better for the first two goals, and Jagielka and Williams are so slow.
Having said that, wasn't Pedro offside for Hazard's goal? And Luiz for Costa's?

The commentators clearly think not as they weren't in the keepers eyeline. I'm inclined to agree with you, they were extremely close and off-putting, especially Pedro

Yes, particularly in the case of Costa's goal, Luiz was standing in front of the keeper in the line of the shot. Definitely interfering with play, I would say.

The North London derby is nearly a certain draw I think. Spurs will be much improved with Kane back.
Think Arsenal will batter them. Spurs are getting found out this season. They have hardly looked good on any match all season bar spurts here and there. 3-0.

As much as a draw would be better for us, I do hope you're right.

I want to see Spurs, their snidey manager and all their deluded fans to get a proper rinsing this season.

Are you considering a bet?...
No, but all the Everton fans who did are gonna be crying this evening. I spoke to a fair few of their fans who were of the opinion "If Leicester can do it we can, our team is better than theirs". Often rambled about Lukaku being one of the best strikers in the league too.

The Chavs have been looking dangerous for a while now, but this is another level still. They're going to be well in the mix come next May.

Chelsea go top.

Not at all surprising - when you have the top goalscorer in the Premiership (Costa, 9), and the third top (Hazard,7), it's pretty inevitable you will be leading the rest.

With the other two leading teams City and Arsenal boasting top scoring players of 8 and 6, the challenge is obvious

Hope we can keep up, starting tomorrow

Not Really - Everton were pathetic on a level one cannot imagine they were so poor. It was as if they did not even want to play tonight - such was the loose nature of their defense. If there was a PL rule to fine certain teams for not meeting a certain standard of performance this was definitely it. Unfortunately their blueshite supporters will not think much of this because it allows Chelsea to challenge and therefore is another nail in our title ambitions.

That Chelsea defense - the new so called structure needs to be tested proper - I hope we do that when the time comes.

You don't know any Everton supporters, so I'd be a little less sure of how they reacted to this defeat

Chelsea look really, really good since the switch to 3 at the back. 5 games, 16 goals scored, none conceded. Conte has figured it out and they are a title threat for sure.

Firmino only needs what, 5 goals to become top scorer in the league ?

Simples

It's our good fortune that we whipped Chelsea at The Bridge in September. We wouldn't find it so easy on their current form.
