I noticed that recently we had cut down on the number of set pieces conceeded.

Lovrens not on the bench so presumably injured rather than dropped for his brain fart against palace.
I think it would be funny if Lucas had some Indian summer for us in defence. His skills suit it so maybe....
Not a fan of Can over wijnaldum in the best line up but maybe he will start to pick up a bit and give us some depth in midfield.

It's horrific.
Still, we're at Anfield, and Watford have as poor a defence as we do, so we should be able to score goals, just hope we don't concede the usual one or two.
Ighalo & Deeney will be loving playing against Lucas. Hopefully our midfield is able to dominate and keep them out of the game but that's a big stretch.
They've kept 3 clean sheets on the trot though, but yeah we're at Anfield.
With Lucas in there it just feels like we might drop a few points
I agree but Can played well and scored in the last game so dropping him would be harsh.
It's more than a feeling. It's a knowledge gained from watching him give away needless freekicks and penalties for the best part of 10 years.

It almost makes me want to stop supporting us.
Lucas does sometimes play an absolute blinder when you're expecting him to fuck up though. He had an almost flawless game in defence this season & everyone was shocked, but fucked if I remember who it was against.
It's indication Klopp expects more in terms of attack of Wijnaldum. He's been decent for us so far but he wasn't signed to redefine himself as a holding CM player. I hope he starts gathering the confidence to get into the box more and more. He'll need to do so to get into the side.
