Very entertaining game. Coutinho was easily our MOM, we need at least another creative outlet in midfield. I really think everyone who played today did well.
Ratings:
Mignolet 7 - Looks assured aerially and produced a few decent saves.
Johnson 6 - I think he loses focus too many times, which leads to poor decision making. But he did OK.
Agger 7 - Didn't have much to do. But he and Touré seem to form a good partnership.
Touré 7 - Looks the part, seems fit.
Enrique 6 - His defending is top notch but I want more from him in attack. Was a bit anonymous at times.
Lucas 7 - Positioned himself well, calm and composed. Looks fit and raring to go.
Allen 7 - I don't think anyone ran as much as Allen did in this game. Involved in the 2nd goal.
Gerrard 7 - Got on the score sheet, should have got two goals. His passing was erratic at times. Did OK.
Coutinho 9 - What vision! I love watching him play. 1 goal, 1 assist and always looking to cause damage.
Aspas 8 - Very impressed with him. Timely runs, looks for space between the lines. Nice finish.
Borini 6 - Feel a bit sorry for him. His movement is great but he just seems so clumsy with the ball.
Subs: Ibe 6, Suarez 7, Henderson 6, Skrtel 6, Alberto 6.
