Looks like its going to be Milner. Good choice if true. Mail running with the story and various Twitter twatters.
Has looked class so far in pre season and has the experience.

Thoughts?

I'd like it to be Sakho, but Milner is more likely to play the majority of games, so it makes sense.
 
Henderson should be captain, id have Skrtel as vice personally, but Milner would be fine too.
 
Because he's done the job effectively already, Markeh. Milner would probably do it well too, but there'll always be a degree of risk in giving a complete newcomer the armband.
 
With Milner promised more game time, BR has created a rod for his own back by giving Hendo the armband.

Thats 2 of the 3 midfielders that will have to start in centre of midfield.

Good, they're our best two midfielders.
 
I already see signs of Henderson subjugating himself to Milner .. who looked captain material from his very first game for us. Hopefully this isn't going to be a case of Henderson thinking he has to be subservient to a senior player, again.

Sorry, my post was confusing being underneath a pro Henderson reply. I was asking those who were saying Milner should be captain why that is.

I agree on the Henderson front, I'm happy with him in that position.
