Maybe, but he'd definitely be a better than McConnell. But not everyone rates Bajetic as highly as you. I certainly don't, and am fine with him not being part of the current squad.
Bajcetic walked straight into the starting line up at Las Palmas.

What's weird is he talked about Endo's attitude during the press conference today. How other players should have the same mentality he does.If Endo plays against City, we'd dominate and destroy them. Play Macca and Endo, Gravvy to come on in the 2nd half.
But Slot'll never let it happen, sadly.
Problem is, we were never ahead late enough in the game to shore up the defence enough to guarantee the win. Whether he thought gravy offered enough going forward, so that's why he persisted I don't know. What's weird is he talked about Endo's attitude during the press conference today. But he still doesn't give Endo any significant minutes on the pitch in the important games.
Not bringing on Endo to sure up the midfield against Everton was criminal.
Look at how he did against Wolves. I though we'll at least Slot learned from his mistake.
Then he lets Endo rot on the bench yesterday again when we were under pressure.
It's a good point and I agree to an extent. Just not about Endo starting.Problem is, we were never ahead late enough in the game to shore up the defence enough to guarantee the win. Whether he thought gravy offered enough going forward, so that's why he persisted I don't know.
Add in Bradleys injury I can see why endo was never the first choice.
Personally I would have started him

Meet the new manager. Same as the old manager.
Once again loads of us are screaming for certain changes. Then he doesn’t make them. Everyone guesses that players (Endo) don’t suit his philosophy. Well that’s Amorim level stupidity. Do what it takes to fucking win football matches.
Gravenberch and Virgil look shot. There’s not much we can do about Virgil despite Quansah’s recent cameos. Running Gravy into the ground isn’t on. Endo rarely lets us down and doesn’t get dominated.
Chiesa may as well fuck off to Italy on holiday. The Alps will be lovely this time of year. He’s not getting a game. Even when Gakpo is out, Jota not ready for 90 and Nunez still gets minutes.
I’m not seeing any of these tactical tweaks or more control this last month. It’s still utter fucking chaos.
Nah lad. I’ve had a belter time in Sauze D’Oulx. The Alps are shite, believed me.
But so is Chiesa. It might fit.

I’m annoyed that he speaks about Endo in press conferences but seems resentful to use him.Slot appears a perfectionist, and doesn’t rate some of the squadies.
But it is what it is, and He has to use what he has more. Tsimi, Endo, Elliot, Chiesa should all have taken minutes off the first eleven lately.
Poor squad management.
... you wouldn't make subs in the last 10 minutes is what you're saying hereUnless Endo gives away a free kick and it leads to a loss.
I'm not saying he would have, I just find it strange that people talk as if they know what would have happened.
We're still top with a little lead, I wouldn't tinker with anything that got us here.

He needs some meme-ability to go down in the annals of cult heroEndo is one of the most loveable players we’ve ever had in terms of professionalism and attitude.
Slot was aided by having a settled XI.I expect there will be a lot of squad updates this summer, after he has had a season to assess.
Then, being realistic, we really have to expect next season to be a "transition season"; hopefully much like the current "transition season" 🙂
