Didn't we have a poster called Radja?
Ha, close. God he was a muppet.
Didn't we have a poster called Radja?
What a massive whopper he was.
he wasn't that bad when you talked to him privately - just young and 'brendan'ish with his vulgarities.
He was an utter cunt. Didn't he wish cancer on somebody?
Unfortuantely, quite a few have done that on this site mate ... including some who you and I both consider in high regard ... It's a horrible horrible thing to say, and I won't defend him for it, but having talked to him a bit off line, he was a young, spoiled kid who just said stupid shit ... Not a bad person at all.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says it is possible the club will strengthen in January but refused to comment on links with Petr Cech and Fernando Torres. The Reds, who spent £117m in the summer, are reported to be interested in former striker Torres and goalkeeper Cech, both Chelsea players.
"If there is a possibility that we can strengthen in January, we will look at that," Rodgers said. "There will always be speculation, but I won't comment on any players."
What Brendan says and what he thinks aren't necessarily connected.Brendan says he has not even thought about Balotelli going.

What a disaster.
Still, if he goes at least that means we'll definitely be buying a striker.
My gut feeling tells me our transfer committee will underwhelm once again and we'll probably get in one shitty striker like Berahino or something.
he's still infinitely better than anyone else we have at the moment, thats not injured anyway
Loads of Shaqiri links on twitter again (on loan).
Anyone think we might try and convert him into a bustling little striker a la Sanchez etc? The lad is aggressive, quick and can finish...

I think we tried but Bayern blocked it, I'd love to sign him also, although like Lovren, he's a bit of a poserI said exactly that last Summer. He was brilliant for Switzerland at the World Cup, even though playing on the RW for much of the time, he would often cut into the centre (a la Sanchez) and cause mayhem. Would absolutely love him here, we should have got that done before the season started.
