I've always liked David Dunn. Really good footballer, whose career has been largely fucked by injury.
Yup, always thought he would become a really good player, and I guess he could have done.

citeh 0-2 everton
That's Everton doing the double over City then..

The old wisdom words of twist and turns. The run in will be full of them. Citeh have looked like a team that cracked under pressure. Maybe having home games wont be an advantage after all.

Everyone talks about City, but there seems little mention of Spurs who are 4 points in front and have a game in hand. They're currently best placed to keep 4th, surely?

Don't they play united, City and Arsenal in a row soon?

I think Spurs have to play the top 3 though.
Man C has a similar run in I think

Good night for us.

Too damn right it is. Miraculously and i mean miraculously we're still in with a shout after tonight's results.

Tottenham v Portsmouth
Sunderland v Tottenham
Tottenham v Arsenal
Tottenham v Chelsea
Man Utd v Tottenham
Tottenham v Bolton
Man City v Tottenham
Burnley v Tottenham

The order may change now they are in the FA Cup semis.

True Ken, but theres a dip in form on the way for them. Injuries and tough program a head. If they get 4th though, they've truely deserved it.
They play arsenal, utd, chelsea and city though. And Sunderland away, which is always trickey.

Definitely. It's them I'm most worried about.

It's a damning fact that our "good" nights occur when we're NOT playing.

Great night for us and as I've said.

We can still get 4th for sure.

Spurs will fall away losing 4 of there last 8 games.

We should be long out of it but i'm not going to complain.

We simply have to beat a resurgent Sunderland side this sunday.

Oh and we're going to be in the horribe position of wanting the Manc Scum to beat our rivals - Spurs and City.
We'll also be looking to return the favour when we play Chelsea 😱 >🙁 :-\
Everton are just as likely, based on current form, to pass us, as we are to get 4th.
yeah, but frankly i couldn't give a toss about finishing 7th instead of 8th, the only important thing to me is that tonight has reignited our hopes of getting 4th.

i agree with keni that spurs will be the main problem (other than our own form) - i called that weeks ago on here. on the one hand, they've got a horrible run-in and mounting injuries, on the other they look in great form and 2 of the games against the top 3 are at white hart lane, plus their goal difference is way ahead of ours.

if we get 70 points (6 wins and a draw) then i think we'll just sneak it.

Yeah, ditto David Thompson.

Thompson was attitude apparently.

At the time I thought he was the absolute bees knees.
I thought injuries fucked him up big time?

I originally (bear in mind i was like 8 ) thought he was gonna be well better than Gerrard. How wrong i was (unless you're franklyfrank).

Aye Thompson looked like he was gooing to be the next big thing(as they say).

I remember he scored a lovely solo goal against Sheffield Wednesday, was quite similar to Gerrard's in the same game.
Think we beat them 4-1.
