its all being underwritten by the arabs.roy is meeting huntellaar today, gattusso has been muted as a one year deal with an option to a second, bridge is around £4m,aguero £20m plus babel, remy is money plus plassis & el zhar.

Selling Mascherano will generate funds to get in all those players except Aguero. We can't afford him but then again I've been pleasantly surprised thus far.

What's that ramirez guy like chelsea are after? He must be decent 23 year old brazilian linked with barca and munich, think he can play on the right too

25m and cambiasso for mascherano
Spend 20m On ramirez/banega someone like that and sell lucas or aquilani

I still think we never replaced alonso adequately

City ready to launch £30million bid for Milner. O'Neill says he will sell. 30? 30? Mascher should be worth £40 if thats the case!

Rumor on TLW ( not by Usher) that 15m + Eto'o for Mascherano.

Amen, please let this be true.

LOL....Surely Rafa isn't that fucking stupid!

It might be his way of saying thank you to the fans ;D

Is there some clause in Eto's contract whereby you must absolutely rape the club your buying him from?!

I don't think he'd even want to come here but hey ho

Wow.

I could maybe live with Scharner as our holding midfielder if it meant having an attack with Etoo, Torres, Gerrard and Cole.

From 3 years ago

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o has admitted 'it would be wonderful' to play in front of the Kop for Liverpool.

'The great thing about Liverpool is their team spirit - it is very strong,' he told the Sunday Mirror.

'But, for me, it is their fans who win matches for Liverpool because they have so much power.

'They are fantastic. Any player would love to have those types of fans behind him.

'I have played at Anfield in the Champions League quarter-final so I know all about their fantastic supporters.

'It would be wonderful to have that kind of support as a Liverpool player but I really don't know what will happen in the next two years.'

Eto for masch is also being reported in the Telegraph, one thing is Eto's age he is 30 isn't he?

Just checked he's 28.

Yes please.

Hmmmm *scratches chin* Not if he was a really hard working run through walls for the team sort of a chap, but I imagine Etoo is not a Rafa type player.

I would think Nando might get a little bit of a stiffy on if he thought this would happen. in fact I.........

regards

Loan? Poor. How long does he have left on his contract?

I guess it (should) mean he's off the payroll though, and if he does better than we expect, we could get more money for him.

I thought Eto'o was hard working? Didin't he basically play much of last season under Mourinho in the Dirk Kuyt position?

He is, and he did. He can be a prima donna off the field but he works his nads off for the team on it.

Eto'o and Torres in tandem - if fit and on form - would be frighteningly good.

The media would be sour grapes as fuck if we signed Eto'o - God forbid we actually finished in the top 4 again next season!
