Joe Hart did really well but some of the finishing was poor and I think Sky were being a little bit kind in saying that Barca stepped down a gear in the last 15 mins... I thought they were coasting throughout the 2nd half and decided to play on the counter, which is why City got to come out of the game with some sliver of dignity.

I watched a bit of of the post-match stuff for the first time in ages tonight. It's pretty awful stuff, isn't it? Henry comes across well I think but Carra is trying too hard to be polished and Jamie Redknapp is starting to morph into his dad.

Whenever I've seen him for Germany he's been very, very good. When I've seen him for Dortmund he's been a fucking mess. Granted that I haven't seen him in many games, but I honestly don't know how to take him.

I wouldn't be too quick to judge players on International performances.
Gary Breen made the team of the tournament in the 2002 world cup.
