We have conceded 10 goals in the past 7 games.
There are 5 teams in the league with a stronger defense than ours in all games.
Everton, WBA and Hull have conceeded 10 goals overall just like us and have all got a better defensive record in the past 7 games.
I bet if someone (@Binny) showed the table for goals against for the past 7 games we'd be in the bottom half. Leaking goals may be pushing it but we are not defending very well as a team at the moment despite having 3 at the back.

We have the 14th strongest defense in the league looking at the past 7 games only. Having conceded 10 goals, which is one less than Fulham, United and Newcastle on 11 goals against.
Only Norwich, Palace and Sunderland have a remarkably worse defensive stat than ours in that time.

Yes. Big part of it as we never would've changed formation if he hadn't been.
That is my guess. I don't know it but it's not pretty is it despite the defenders individually has been ok. Not amazing Fabio, but decent. As a unit not so much mind then you don't concede that many goals.

I think he means that every time a key player is out because of injury or illness then the 'balance' of the team is affected. He's right.

We've played 10 games not 7. Our form is good and we're joint 2nd in the table on points.
The worry is that we havent kept a clean sheet in a while. That is something we have to fix but winning is the most important thing. We've conceded some stupid goals due to lack of concentration on set pieces, which the formation has got nothing to do with. In fact it should make us stronger as we've got an extra CB in there.
Rodgers has a bit of thinking to do about how he sets up the team on saturday though. We need a clean sheet and a solid defensive performance over 90 mins.

Just as well we're playing Fulham at home then!
I'm not too fussed if we keep a clean sheet. As long as we win with the team playing as a unit and not looking like the defense and attack have never met each other before.

The back 3 or 4 will be over-exposed. Saying that, Lucas and Henderson hasn't exactly shielded the defense. Still seems risky but something has to be done about that midfield. Don't think A&A are it though.
arsenal have made a mockery of the exposed argument - they don't have a classic ball winner all the time and do well. Rogers needs to remember his philosophy - keep the ball and they can't hurt you.
