Swansea (H)

This isn't underestimating Swansea, but if we want to be in the top four, especially if we want to be trying into breaking into the top three/two, we have to win the game no questions asked, simple.

If we don't win games like the one today, we don't deserve to be in the CL.

That might be true, but everyone's dropped points in daft games this season. Our home record is as good as anyone in the league, so if we were to drop points, it's hardly an endorsement that our home form hasn't been indicative of something resembling a top side.

We have to win to keep up the chase, but in the grand scheme of things, if we didn't, you couldn't look back and say one loss, one draw and a negative outcome today, in 7 months of football is any kind of disgrace, at all.

Of course I can't judge the season on one game, but with no cup games left, no Europe, 1 game a week and the strength of our squad, it's a no-brainer for me.
We're playing a team that has a much smaller squad then we have, just sacked their manager and played a game 4 days ago.
How can we lose?

That's true but we really need to be winning this today mate. Whilst there's no easy games, Swansea at home and with their tough schedule in last few weeks in mind, there's absolutely no excuse for us not to perform and win the game.

Failing to win won't deter from the fact our home record has been excellent this season, but nonetheless it would be bitterly disappointing.

I know mate, just with some perspective, we've come a long way. It's endearing that we're demanding a win at this stage, it's been a while, usually we're resigned to finishing on the fringe of things.

Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Skrtel, Agger, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez, Sturridge

Vorm, Rangel, Chico, Williams (C), Taylor, Britton, de Guzman, Shelvey, Dyer, Routledge, Bony.

Shelvey to make the headlines again?

Hopefully we'll be up for it and Swansea a bit tired from Thursday.
I'm always a bit negative before a game so I'll once again say potential banana skin.

Is it true Teixiera makes he bench ahead of Alberto again? looking likely he'll be a summer leaver

I don't think he makes the bench, most likely they bought it from a company that specializes in benches & other furniture.
