It allowed him to then incorporate his new signings with more success, but he changed the system around completely too, it was a big decision which also worked and was less reliant on personnel and focused more on packing the defense. Toure and Lucas helped settle us down, definitely, but even without Toure last night, the system continued to work. He's gone back to the drawing board and seemingly adjusted himself, which is one big plus that gives me hope with him, he does tend to have a few systems up his sleeves and isn't afraid to try what looks baffling to many of us.
