Haven't been totally convinced by Robinson. I watched him play in a pre-season friendly (can't remember who against) and he got murdered by the opposition winger. Flanagan came on at half time for him and the first thing he did was to snap the winger in two. The winger wasn't the same for the rest of the match. He's young and has time, but he needs to learn the "professional" side of the game. Whereas Flanagan needs to learn to not let mistakes effect his game as much.

Robinson has been a bit unlucky with injuries, but I have no doubts about him being better than Flanagan.
Anyway, game on!
 
Suso playing on the right. Is getting an attacking role today since their main strike Jesé is suspended. Started off brightly, getting past the defenders with ease.
 
Weren't Le Tallec and Pongolle stars of their under 19's Euro comp before we signed them?

They were absolutely top rated after that.

Oh, anyway I don't mean to be harsh on LeTallec and Sinama but they were only kids.

The one who was most impressive was LeTallec imo, but it just goes to show that a player showing promise at U16 level doesn't necessarily have the tools to make it, and in the end Sinama surpassed him. Btw LeTallec is a regular at Auxerre who just got relegated.
Sinama is also playing in France but on loan.
 
Rodgers on Suso: "He's a boy I've heard enough about in terms of his talent. He's technically gifted and hopefully his mentality is strong".
 
Just watched those two clips. I must say they are very mature for one so young. He plays a lot like Aquilani did at that age. Hopefully he turns out better for us.
One year? Lets give him a proper contract ay?

I think he is like Benayoun with Jamie Redknapps long passing (this is a complement).
