On the face of it.. we don't really need anything special...

Keita, Gomez and the OX will all be like new singings..

Keita has been excellent of late, whilst OX will offer something different in terms of drive from midfield we have been lacking in some parts of the season..

Wilson will likely be in the squad as Brewster will be too..

A New Backup Goalkeeper (mignolet will likely depart) and A Backup left to replace moreno back maybe ?

Brewster will replace the outgoing studge...

Just to add some of those balls last night from Keita where special... he is going to be a very special player next season..

I make it we will be losing
Clyne
Ings
Grujic
Lallana
Sturridge
Moreno

And maybe lose
Shaq
Origi
Lovren

So we do need to buy

Shaq Origi and Lovren will be staying... no doubt about it... Origi is to be offered a new contract..

Grujic will likely come into the squad to replace Lallana should he depart...

He has been brilliant for hertha as a DM this season.. we may need backup for fabs, he would be ideal which would allow Henderson to flourish in his new role..

Why are some people hell bent on getting Trent into midfield? Full back is a critical role in this team and he is ace at it. We would lose an attacking outlet at right back, and I don't see what we would gain over our current midfielders

I don’t see Trent being moved into midfield. Not yet anyway.

We’ll need a back up keeper and left back. I’d like another DM and definitely someone to ease the number of games played by the front three. Brewster may ease some of that burden but we need someone better than Origi or Sturridge.

Shaq, Origi, Clyne and Grujic want more games but when they come on they make the team weaker. Milner is 33 years old, and on £170k a week, should this be his last season?
This is controversial, I would look to see if we could get rid of Ox. You only have to look at his history, he more than likely will get another injury within weeks which will lay him off for months

Still need a boss centre back after we ship Lovren out.
VVD makes anyone playing alongside him look world class. We’ve been lucky with no injuries to him this season. Should that change next season, I don’t fancy either Matip or Lovren alongside Gomez.

That, and a top drawer attacker to give Bobby a break from time to time and allow some rotation up front.

I would go for fellow Scot

You clearly haven't seen Gruijc play this season..

Shaq is a luxury player.. you need them in your squad

Lovren is adequate 3/4 choice backup..

Matip and Gomez will always be ahead of him in the pecking order..

We dont need another CB

There's is a defo call for a left back and maybe a right back for cover

Why is everyone so desperate to see one of Lovren / Matip go?

If they really want to leave, fine, but otherwise who are we getting and how much are we spending to replace them?

We need to be focusing our money on a top class forward (or two), an attacking midfielder and a fullback (or two).

For me Lovren, because he is so injury prone. If we cab get £30m and replace him with De Ligt for £65m.
Brandt is available for £22m and Hakim Ziyech for £30m.
Kieran Tierney LB for £20m.
If you want a striker after that, then Werner but he will cost £80m

Bournemouth as well, probably.

If they'd give us actual real money for Solanke (nevermind 20 million!!!???), then anything is possible.
