Suarez.. Wow...

I loved that ... I said it in the thread - his will to win every minute on the pitch is unparalleled. It's such a phenomenal quality for a player - and I just wish all our squad had it.
I know. It's in you our it's not. I agree, we need more of them.

I'd make him vice captain when Agger leaves. Hopefully his will to win can rubb off on the other players. 1 of the top 3 players in the world.

The third reminded me of Le Tissiers a few years ago.

Loved it

This season and CL footy qualification will go down as the biggest turning point in our fortunes for the next decade or two.

I fear for us if we don't make it and players like him leave and Stevie retires.

If we finish top 4 and he stays it is huge for us.

Loved how the commentator yelled after his 4th:

"OUTRAGEOUS"...

"OUTRAGEOUS"....

I watched it on viasat & have no idea what the commentator was saying, yet he conveyed a very similar message.

He also kept saying "Suarez, WOW. WOW", which I understood quite clearly.

It's much more enjoyable watching matches with foreign commentary.

Haha nice, I obviously watched it via Viasat as well as that's what we've got on the telly over here, but I just saw the highlights with the English commentator this morning, he was quite stunned.

Suarez: “I am happy off the field and feel at home, the Premier League is the best league in the world. Yes, I am happy here and will stay at Liverpool until the end of the season.”
The Uruguayan forward admitted: “Luckily, I am scoring these goals to make up for the games I missed, to take more confidence and help the team.”
On perhaps winning a Ballon d’Or, Suarez said: “It is impossible, with the stars today, they are on another level. I think its a distant dream.”
Finally, Suarez laid out his targets for the season: “The main thing is that Liverpool finish in the top four. I will help them get there.”

Can we keep the fucker? Because you'd have to say, the clubs that could break the bank would be stupid not to smash the transfer record for him. He's better than Bale and Neymar, and he's on par with the gay one.

I get the feeling that we're going to have to pay him a lot of money to sign a contract (that will probably have a release clause in), but he's obviously worth it. If Henderson is on 70k for example, he's worth at least 3 of him on the pitch so there's 200k straight off.
I think we give him 200k a week, a 5yr contract, and a release clause ONLY for foreign teams, and it has to break the transfer record.

The second time he said it, he put a gap between the "out" and the "rageous". I think he wanted to say "OUT-FUCKING-RAGEOUS!" but then he remembered he was commentating and he wasn't allowed lol

Sounds like he's off in the summer to me.

Yep he's off regardless of what we do.
Ronaldo fucked off to Madrid after winning the league and played in a champions league final the season before he left.
So basically we have fuck all chance of keeping the little genius.

I agree!

His celebration for the 3rd goal is pretty funny.

He's just running around with his hands on his face, smiling, and shaking his head cos even he knew that goal was ridiculous.

[article=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2518631/If-Luis-Suarez-signed-Arsenal-title-sewn-Christmas--Champions-League-Manchester-United-unthinkable.html#ixzz2mcFsW54T ]Question: Where does Luis Suarez rank against strikers you played with and against in the Premier League? (From Willie Danielson in Surbiton)

Answer: As Robbie Fowler said last night, he’s starting to embarrass former strikers. The quality of his goals is sensational. Steven Gerrard scored his fair share of beauties over the years but Suarez seems to be doing it for fun now.

I can’t help but think that if he’d gone to Arsenal over the summer the league would have been sewn up by Christmas. Last night his grin was as big as I’ve ever seen it. He’s enjoying what he’s achieving. He’s selfish but the best strikers are. If he carries on doing what he’s doing, he might have to move to find success but I think he’d leave with Liverpool’s blessing.

I think Suarez is getting himself above Ruud van Nistelrooy, he’s not quite got the pace of somebody like Thierry Henry, who I played with, but Suarez is almost a combination of Henry and Dennis Bergkamp. He is scoring such a great mix of goals.[/article]

I think he'll go after the World Cup and to Madrid. Just hope he gets us to 4th before he leaves.

I loved how at the beginning he was going round all the players and geeing them up. Perhaps surprisingly, there is a natural leader in there.
Yeah I noticed that as well. He seems very encouraging of young Flanno and Sterling in particular. He'll go in the summer which sucks but he's probably added 20 million to his 50 Million price tag last season. Was it Kenny that bought him?

Nice - Just another thing to be thankful to KK for. I really do love the guy. 🙂

Doesn't Comolli keep going on about Suarez? He's probably just trying his very best to feel important though.
