How many does everyone think he will get in the league?

Andy Cole and Alan Shearer hold the record for most goals in a PL season with 34 each in the early days of the Prem when it was a 42 game season.

He will surely beat that record, has 22 games left to score 18, 40 isn't out of the question at this rate assuming he plays in all the games.

Had a quick look at the list of golden boot winners. The current record is shared between Ronaldo and Shearer. 31 goals in a 38 game season.
But they took penalties as well, I think Ronaldo scored like 7 that season.
Suarez has reached 17 goals already and none of them have been penalties. If he was our penalty taker he would have been on 19 goals this season.

Actually 17 in 11, if he carries on that strike rate he will finish the season on 51 PL goals, haha, just imagine that! we would be champions if that happened.

One goal per game in the remaining fixtures would make it 39 goals.

Hard to imagine he won't beat the 31, it would be nice for him (and us) to get past the 34 and put the record out of reach.

Just stumbled across this in the Guardian from a year ago..

That bolded bit is a pretty funny and a quite brilliant description of him.

I'm not sure which paper it was this morning but it describes him as "the Lord of Chaos". Which i thought was pretty fucking great for a footballer.
