I think Gerrard is the better of the two.
I think he's our greatest ever and probably the finest all round footballer the world has ever seen.
There has been better attackers and better defenders but none who do both as well.
He's a phenomenon and i doubt the likes of him will be seen again. Kids in the park these days all want to do the messi/ronaldo shit, give me a team of Gerrards over a team of either of those all day.
If we hadnt had Gerrard what would we have won this last decade? Maybe the Owen FA cup.

And then finally i found this one, sadly they dont show the behind player angle so it looks very like the goal against Middlesbrouogh shown above but its more direct and well.... just a dirty powerful strike, unstoppable stuff. For a good ten years of his career he was IMO the best long range goal getter in the world, he just TWATTED them in at will. Brilliant brilliant player.
