2015/2016 - we saw players like Kante, Vardy, Mahrez, and Dele Alli who could have all been purchased for peanuts the season before.

Who do you think will be the next big thing in 2016/2017? By all means name youngsters, playing in the u21/reserves

It's a complete lottery but I do like the look of Lanzini at West Ham. He could potentially be very good.

Vardy's been there four years, Mahrez is in his second season. What are you asking? Who is going to be great next season that wasn't the year before?

Or just who is going to be a 'breakout' star? Really hard to say without knowing who is coming in. And even then it's pretty much a lottery. Certainly nobody predicted Vardy or Mahrez to do what they have, and hardly anyone knew much about Kante either.

Delle Ali was the only young player most people thought was going to be great, but again, it was impossible to predict how much game time he would get.

I have no idea really. Nobody does. As the names you supplied in the first sentence would suggest.

If the ox leaves arsenal I think he'll be fantastic next season

Of course, there will be about 10 arrivals in the Premiership who will be fucking brilliant and we will all be gutted we didn't sign them first.

It would be nice if that happened to us, we haven't been in that position since we signed the likes of Coutinho and Suarez, and Coutinho took more than a season to look great.

Emre Can, no doubt at all. He will dominate the midfield.

For us: one or more of the new players Klopp will bring in during the summer.

More generally, I'm a tad nervous about a Martial/Rashford partnership down the E.Lancs Rd.

I doubt that Rashford will play many games next season. They will sign a striker for more than £50m and he will play.

Origi, Ings and Gomez are all good shouts. Can would not really be a surprise unless he starts adding a quantity of goals to his game (which is possible depending on how he is used - he has the technique)

We've got 3 youngsters with huge potential; Ojo, Markovic & the new signing from Red Star Belgrade. Markovic doesn't count coz of the price tag, but one of the 3 is guaranteed to have a break out season.

Markovic doesn't count because he's shit

Perhaps so (especially if Mourinho comes in), but at the same time they have a lot of rebuilding work to do on that squad, so they might welcome the option of playing Rashford and spending the money on other parts of the team.
