I'm looking for a way for the wife to watch TV in the kitchen without buying a new TV. Plus, we have an old place and the cable jack is on the other side of the house.
Thinking of hooking up a slingbox and she can watch on her laptop or iPad.
Anyone have one? Can I set it and control the content from my laptop, or do I have to have a TV? We have an extra cable box that is in that far room but no TV connected to it.
How is the quality? We have a very fast home network so that shouldn't be a problem.
