Ridiculous penalty for Chel$ki puts them one up against Neverton.

Anelka purposefully runs directly into Howard. Never a pen!

Cry me a river for the poor blueslime. Besides, if the Chavs don't win the league the Mancs will.

Exactly.

I don't see Spurs, Arsenal or Citeh winning it - so it comes down to the lesser of two evils.

come on brum fuck the spurs over..

fackin hate spurs..

Bayern are absolutely battering Schalke 0-0 - the ball refuses to go in the net .... Neuer has made some fantastic saves and now Bayern have hit the bar and then the ball was deflected wide. Incredible pressure in this first half.

Watched the earlier match when Eintracht Frankfurt beat Mainz 2-1 (derby match) with a late penalty that was an absolute travesty - clearly not handball.

3rd straight defeat for Quique Sanchez Flores's Atletico Madrid. They're in danger of missing out on the next round of Europa League too. Van Gaal's losing 2-0 to Schalke. 14 points behind leaders Dortmund who have a game in hand. Potential managerial casualties?

Spurs Chelsea was a good game. I called Drogba missing it before he even stepped up, absolutely useless.

Barca have been taking the piss out Real Sociedad tonight. As much as I enjoy watching them play though, it would be nice if some of the other teams were able to put up more of a fight now and again. The top two are simply untouchable in that league.

Ancelotti said after the game that Lampard didn't take the penalty as he hasn't done any shooting training..

Drogbas miss was invitable.

Right, stuff from the weekend:

- Spurs bench. Bentley - 18M, Corluka - 10m odd, Sandro - 8M odd, Keane - 12M, Crouch - 10M, Giovani - 5M odd. Add Bassong, Kranjcar, Woodgate, and however many other billions Redknapp and Ramos before him have spent and it's not difficult to see why they're competing.

- Chelsea's defence. They're old, and retreating. They were standing beside Cech when Pavlyuchenko received that pass from Defoe. Terry, Ferreira, Cole, Alex - all fucking old, slow, and holding a deeper and deeper line by the week. They need youth badly.

- As badly as Everton need a goalscorer.

- David Silva or Andriy Arshavin?

- Roy Keane will be sacked within 2 weeks.

- I say this every week, but that Stuart Holden kid at Bolton is really gonna be a star.

- As is Tchoyi at West Brom. I'd take him.

- Houllier used the phrase "we've turned a corner" in his post-match press conference. I kid you not.

- Mark Clattenberg's hair is a fucking state. How much gel can one man put in such short hair?

- And finally - who'll be sacked first; Our Roy or Mancini?

- What else?

Stuart Holden is 25 though...

Seriously? Surprising.

The other 'kid' at Bolton Mark Davies looks reasonable too. I suppose he's about 39 though.
