Always the victim, it's never your fault

Apparently they saying its to do with Suarez. Haha yeah right.

I agree with Rael on this one... "Coulda, shoulda woulda'... didn't. If you're that offended, leave.

Do we know what they were singing?
"Always the victim, never your fault"

The point I make is that there seems to be a majority view on both sides of the fence that songs of this nature are not only distasteful but do a disservice to both sets of fans.
There has been talk of an olive branch in the shape of a gesture to respect the "Justice for the 96" from their side and the desire to do that, again by the majority is tempered by the fear that it will be thrown back in their faces,
I see an opportunity to remove the singing of all those vile songs by the fans and while I think the vast amount of work lies on their side I would hate to give them the excuse not to do it.

The thing is, away fans are generally the hardcore. Next week at Anfield it will kick off. I hope our supporters don't lower themselves to their level by retaliating.

You are more than likely right with the first bit and I would say it is highly unlikely that the retaliation won't happen either.
And so the shit continues.

Yea, it's on an issue like this that the fans need leadership from the club.
To be fair the majority of fans are probably well ready to be led.

There are lots of Mancs on Redcafe who are disgusted by it, and it is good to see it was condemned immediately by the club.

It is sad that it happened though, very dissapointing.

I went onto Red Cafe earlier in the week and was pleasantly surprised by the overwhelmingly positive and supportive response to the HIC report.
I was surprised though that while there was talk of a gesture in support of the 96 there was a fear that it would be thrown back in their faces.
In my view it is them that have to make the lion's share of the running when it comes to changing their ways. It is them that seem obsessed by us and sing their songs about us during even neutral matches.
Despite all their recent success It seems that they still have a bit of an inferiority complex, when it comes to Liverpool

Maybe if he and his like minded fellow supporters showed their disgust by walking out in their droves their club might do something. But we know that Utd are shit at these sort of things. They show their anti Glazer stance by wearing their green and gold scarves over their shiny new red shirts.

Exactly my thoughts. If they were playing against us, then yeah, I'd be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. It's blatantly obvious that this was about Hillsborough.

Why the fuck would they be singing about Suarez anyway?
I seem to recall a Norwich fan saying the same thing when called out about singing that song last season. Claimed that they were singing it about Suarez.
Aren't football supporters by and large such unimaginative sheep.

Baa!

To be honest, I wouldn't mind so much if we were playing in the game, but signing about one of our players in a game we weren't even involved in is ridiculous.

And they definitely should have known better, given the week that's in it. Not the brightest.

Anyway, I don't believe that's what they were signing about, I bet they didn't even think what they were signing, just following the crowd as you say...

As I said earlier Gerry.
They are fucking obsessed with us,
It is all part of their inferiority complex.

He's paid to watch his team play a game of football why should he leave .. I'd rather face these fuck wits face to face than walk out..

If I was genuinely 'ashamed' on my fellow supporters, as he claims to have been, I'd walk out... That's all. It's easy to say stuff, but I'd be more apt to believe you if you act, rather than speak.

I'd be interested to hear how many official complaints were given to utd from utd fans.

They have a line set up expressly for that.

The unfortunate thing is, if it does start up again, I'm fairly certain our idiot section will take the bait and follow suit.

To be honest, I try to ignore it. All supporters have an idiot section. Fuck them. What annoys me more, is the way the MUST tried to pass it off as a jibe at Suarez.

Yeah, I know a dick head on twitter I went to school with who said 'those fucking mancs are gonna get it both barrels next week'.

Like resorting to singing Munich will prove anything positive at all.

Ginsoak (who I'm sure only said anything at all in order to put pressure on LFC fans) has now talked himself into a position in which he appears unable to control his own fans. What a mastermind he is.

It is easy enough for United to identify the people singing this shite and remove their season tickets / ban them from the ground . They probably would do this as good PR if it was 1 or 2 but no way are they going to remove the income from a few thousand .
