Did she suffer?
No virgins blood was needed for this divination Dantes. Just thought that Spurs could play without any pressure, and having beaten them earlier in the season that if they got a foothold in the game they could punish Shitty. Also fancied Sir Harold of Kane to score...

That defending for Kane’s 2nd deserves another medal.

Spurs’ defensive plan was pretty simple - have 2 defenders on each flank at all times, guard against the usual City cut-backs from the byline, stay in defensive shape and don’t do anything stupid. Spurs’ attacking plan was even simpler - find Kane in the middle, let him turn and ping a ball in beyond the City high line for Son and Kulusevski to run onto. I wonder if the success of this plan will give other teams a blueprint on how to play against City.

I dont know. Spurs were on the backfoot for most of the game and City should probably have won.
The full backs were in acres of space and City had so many chances.

To pull off the attacking plan you need a Kane type player and quick wingers who work tiressly.
Not many other teams have that. Besides I think Spurs are one of Citys bogey teams just in terms of their ability to counter attack.

Spurs are in general shite, but thank God they turned up today.

I thought City struggled to create anything meaningful really. Spurs scored 3, had another disallowed, and Kane missed a sitter. They created the better chances and defended well. City scored from a Lloris clanger and a pen.

Yeah, Spurs were able to make maybe 3-4 forays forward in each half, but each one was a serious goal-scoring chance. Walker’s recovery pace is key for City to allow them to play a high line without great pace in the rest of the back 4 - he was clearly tasked with tracking Son and managed to spoil a few of the breakaways, but Cancelo didn’t even try to do a comparable job on Kulusevski on the other side and that was City’s undoing. I would love to know what Guardiola was heatedly complaining about to his assistant coach after Kane scored the winner; hope a hot mic somewhere captured it.

Was complaining he doesn't get to remove the ferret from his rectum until next week. Heard it clear as day on DAZN.

I am enjoying how Newcastle signed Wood for £20m, largely to weaken a relegation rival, and Burnley went and used that money to sign a superior footballer. MOTM and first scorer today for Burnley.

Could be signing of the season if Weghorst keeps them up. He's like a budget Kane, and that's a very big compliment.

Yeah, they would have been better off signing Weghorst themselves, which they easily could have done.

Think there's an argument that extreme wealth can make clubs a bit lazy and risk adverse in their approach. City only targeting Grealish and Kane springs to mind.

Pressure is on now. I reckon if they drop any more points they'll focus solely on CL
Where they'll meet us in the final and Pepe, players and their fanbase will spontaneously combust after losing to a penalty in the last minute (or after we thrash them 5-0, can't decide which is the better scenario).

As I said, Spurs are their bogey team in terms of counter attacking and the few chances they created were big. But City had the most chances with 21-6 in shots, 10-0 in corners and the ball for 73% of the time.
Cancelo could have had a hattrick in the first half.

So a disallowed goal for offside is a chance when its against City, but not against or for us?
