Sickening is a bit strong Rurik, it’s unfortunate just like any injury players suffer.
Players choose to play for their country because they’re dedicated just like a player can choose not to play for their country anytime they wish.

Feels like we should be seeing more goals and assists from him at LFC?
Is he more restricted while playing for us?
It’s only natural; he is Hungary’s main attacking threat and his role in that team is to create and score goals directly. Here he has 3 strikers in front of him who need to be fed. Maybe when Salah goes to AFCON we will see him in the forward line for a while.

I suppose playing as part of a midfield 3 which isn’t known for registering a lot of goals/assists would say so. For his previous clubs and his country he plays as more of a 10 or in a front 3.
But I think because of how reliable our front 3 are with the burden of goalscoring means he’s able to carry out more midfield responsibilities so maybe instead of getting a goal or assist every 3-4 games it’ll be every 6-7 games.
It’s become an afterthought for me anyway seeing as how well he’s started the season.
Awful. With the new CL format starting next year there will be even more games for these footballers, and even more injuries.
Sorry but these guys are paid an absolute fortune for running around on a pitch. Injuries are just part and parcel... as they are for many people in all walks of life who don't get paid a fortune for playing the game they love.
Yeah there's absolutely no limit to how many games these guys can play. No upper limit, and if there is (but there isn't) we're nowhere near it yet. Infantino has a short career so half a dozen more games a season against the Azerbaijan champions is just part and parcel.

Trent is probably dying to start no matter the conditions or opponent to prove he can play in midfield for England. Rice, Trent and Foden midfield 3 it looks like.

14-0. There should be a Europa Cup equivalent of the European Championship where minnows like Gibralter who will never progress beyond the qualifiers be put along with the failures from the group stage. The biggest advantage of what I am proposing is you reduce the number of International Games
