I do - There's one rule for Real Madrid and another for every other team on the planet.
We cant even offer CL to him. Also whats the point in getting a midfielder like him ? Klopps gonna turn him into a recylcing waste manager anyway, thats why I am happy us getting 22 year old upcoming talent that can run. At least they are cheaper and probably run faster and we will get 2 years out of them before Klopp fucks them up physically with all the running.

This Velverde tweet came out exactly at the same time that Man United news about Qatar ownership came out, so most people think it is the FSG publicity machine - that will end in - "we tried to get this guy, but we couldn't " - it is absolute bollox.
Offer them £50m+ add ons that could reach £80m.
Add ons like winning major trophies etc. - not easy things like play 25 games or something - add-ons that deliver increased revenue, of which we can sacrifice a bit of.
Give them Donkey Brain in part exchange if needs be or something.
Or fuck around a bit and get Man Utd to go all Chelsea and pay stupid amounts and go sign someone else.
Either works.

Definitely 1 more, ideally 2 if the budget stretches and maybe 3 if we’re selling someone - and Thiago would be the first out if someone wants him.
CB would be good and I’d rather that than a 4th new midfielder.
We definitely need 3 in total.. a 4th would be a Thiago heir apparent ideally
Have you been to the supermarket and thought, "hey that looks like a good deal, I'll just get an extra one now. I know the one I already have, I could continue with, but it's gonna need replacing soon, if not now"? Thiago and Hendo are well past their peak, at the very least Thiago should go now.
Let's say we play 4-3-3 again with the RB
Our MF would be Mac 10, Thuram, and Viega and on the bench we'd have Kone, CJ, Hendo, Fabs,Tsimikas, Steph, Jota, Nunez and GK
Fabs, Steph and Hendon could play multiple positions. If a CB is bought in then CJ would find his position on the bench at risk until someone got injured.

A bench with a keeper, a LB, 2 forwards & 5 midfielders in a system we play 3 midfielders… and no CB’s… with the 2 players that could fill in at say RB or CB in a team playing a high line, coincidentally the slowest players in the team.
… all so as you can find space for all the midfielders you’re desperate to sign.

You're assuming Klopp will always play the high line, I'd like to think Klopp has learned to play a style that fits the personnel he has
Klopp has only ever not played a high line if he absolutely has to - and it fucks up the tactics of the rest of the team if we don’t.
And you shouldn’t use wine as an example - my wine buying’s fucked - it’s a great example of buying stuff you don’t need - it’s Wednesday - I’ve already bought 10 bottles this week and cancelled an order on another 12.
I think I only bought 6 bottles on a pre-order last week - quiet week.
