Rubbish Transfer Rumours

L'Equipe claims that Paul Georges Ntep has visited our training facilities twice in the last 10 days and that we want to sign him.
Well who wouldn't want to sign him?!

Anyone care to tell me who he is & if he's any good, where he plays, etc?

Looked good against Monaco last year (first few bits of the clip are a bit meh but it gets better)

Probably another rubbish link though.

If we have to have one thread with rumours. We need two.

One for LFC rumours one for the ones that nobody gives a shit about

We'll probably end up signing some crappy keeper and probably Milner as our 'marquee' player. And that Belgian striker whose name I have forgotten and can't even be arsed to google.

I say - promote the youth since they are no worse than some of the shite we are scouting to bring in.

[article=http://www.mercurynews.com/sports/ci_28036037/liverpool-fc-has-eye-livermore-teenager]The De Anza Force youth soccer club is sending another teen to Liverpool FC.

Adolfo Trujillo of Livermore left Saturday for a two-week tryout at the popular English soccer team, De Anza director Jeff Baicher said.

The Cupertino-based Force sent Marc Pelosi of Sunnyvale to Liverpool three years ago. Pelosi was able to sign with the English Premier League club because he holds dual nationality after being born in Germany.

The possibility of signing immediately could be tricky for Trujillo, 16. Soccer's governing body FIFA does not allow the international transfer of players under the age of 18.

But the prestigious tryout gives Trujillo another possible option in his blossoming career. He started with Ballistic United of Pleasanton eight years ago before joining the Force. Liverpool scouts noticed the left-side midfielder when he played for the U.S. under-16 national team in a game in Europe.

Baicher said Trujillo has a special quality, but "what it is has yet to be discovered. He has a lot of mobility, he's very quick and he's really starting to understand the game."

Baicher added Liverpool has been searching for more players like Pelosi, and the United States has emerged as an attractive place to mine for talent. Joshua Pynadath, a Force player from Los Altos Hills, is a member of Real Madrid's youth academy.

Baicher said about a dozen foreign clubs have contacted De Anza to form a partnership so they have first rights to the Bay Area players.

The club competes against the Earthquakes Youth Academy for top area players. The Quakes want players in their program to have first signing rights if they develop into pros.[/article]

I'd rather we just started saving the money than continue buying players like Milner. Everything about the signing is fucking wrong.

I'm going to apply what seems to be the prevalent way of thinking to many of our recent signings here: Danny Ings would be a good buy as long as he didn't play much and we signed someone better.

Tell me something I don't know.

He's scored 1 goal every 4 games this season, and hasn't actually scored in his last 11 games.

He'll fit right in.

well I hope we sell all our strikers and there's no money to buy two or three class ones. He'll have to do but it best be the lamblert replacement. If sterling goes then we're Spurs minus London.
