Rodger's summer spending

I haven't paid much attention to any of the stuff Brendan has said until now but the interviews that have been posted in the last few days have been fairly infuriating.

I'm not sure why so many seem to dislike Alberto.

He looks talented in the fucking tiny bits and pieces of gametime he's been given. I'd like to see him get more of a run, kid can play.

With an indifferent November and a poor start to December BR's management is being questioned. He's started gabbling because the noise around the club with reporters, forums and social media is non-stop I'd suggest.

Despite LFC fans anointing themselves with the virtues of both patience and knowledge it doesn't take us very long to start querying everything does it.

He's a young manager unused to a high pressure environment, pressure which has got the better of vastly more experienced managers in Benitez, Hodgson and Dalglish.

I hope he can respond and have a strong mind because he's not going to get any time. He needs the team to win the Norwich, West ham and Cardiff games in December at least I'd say or he'll quickly lose support and these owners are trigger happy. You can change more than players during January.

Sakho " one to develop " really? He's a 16m signing who is first choice for France surely he doesn't need development and at that price should be getting in the team pretty much first choice. He's been solid in every game he's played for us so injury aside his non appearances are baffling.

Err where did I say "one to develop"? I said he wouldn't be the first import to be eased into the side. I didn't mention development AT ALL.

That Hull result was very poor. Rodgers complaining that the team was too weak was also very poor.

3 points tonight will make me feel better.

FINALLY, The Ryan has got on the Alberto Bandwagon

That's the kiss of death

Ha, touche.

As opposed to slating everyone, and then watching as they go on to become the top score in the league after playing half the games everyone else has.

That'd be the kiss of life I guess.

I don't recall saying anything about Sergio Aguero.

And I praised Sturridge earlier this year, saying he was probably our most important player. I think in another five weeks time plenty more will agree with me.

Not being able to beat Hull without him is a little bit worrying

You make it sound like we won all the games Sturridge started in without Suarez.

People hate him because that 7m could have got us that world class player we totally were about to get and TOTALLY wanted to join us

Or people like to moan because they're cunts

You've said this about Lucas and Allen.....

Although out of those 3 I would like to see Allen get a run in the team.

I like Alberto, as Ryan said, he looks like he can play, it'd be interesting to see him get a lengthy run out tonight if we go a few goals up.

Loads of rumours on Twitter that Agger will be sold in January. Skrtel - Sakho to be the starting CBs?

Agger was out-muscled again tonight on a couple of occasions (incl the goal). I'd like to see Sakho get a run.

(That said, Skrtel twice gave the ball away in dangerous situations under no pressure).

Rumours about Aspas leaving to join Valencia on loan.

Rumours about us signing Swedish u17 striker Berisha.

If Rodgers has been moaning about financial backing then he's got a fucking cheek after getting shite like Aspas, Borini, Assaidi, Cissokho, Allen and spunking £15m on a centre half he plays every now and then. It's not the owners chopping and changing the defence every week.

It does make sense as we have Sakho and Skrtel is a right sider, surely we wouldn't leave ourselves with just Toure for that side?

It'll be a shame in a way but it probably is time to move on, get the feeling Agger might know it to by some of his lastest performances.

Rodgers signings haven't been as bad as some make out, we have a goalie that looks class at actually stopping the ball going in the net, something we really needed, the other things can get worked on and he'll improve on them.

Defensivly his signings look good and potentially very very good with Sakho and to a lesser extent Ilori, Toure was a good bit of buisness to.

Cisshoko is loan, can't really hammer him much for that one.

He has bought us a great little playmaker in Coutinho who is already quality and has the potential to be one of the best around.

He bought us Sturridge who is quality, Borini yes, he isn't looking good, have a feeling he will come good for someone, probably not us, not sure why Rodgers thought he could play across the front 3, he can't, pure penalty box player by the looks, Aspas does look a lost cause though, a bad punt but we shouldn't lose to much on him or Borini for that matter.

Its the midfield where he has cocked up so far but being linked to the likes of the Armenian (aswell as Costa, Willian although wide/forwards should comfort us a little in that he is wanting players of that calibre.

It was never going to be an overnight thing and mistakes were always going to be made along the way, he seems the type to realise most of them though, fairly confident we will get those midfielders in the next 2 windows, obviously it would be huge getting CL, so vital we do.
