Summed up well in the studio there, Johnsons challenge was pathetic.
Maybe I'm exaggerating his mistakes though, after all, he's an attacking fullback.
Throw Skrtel into the mix as well then. He's been at fault for a couple goals this season as well (including todays).
Don't you like GlenJo, or something ?
Can you blame him? He has a mistake in him every game. Shitting out of tackles like today, getting caught out of positon, ball watching, not clearing his lines etc etc. He's fucking garbage.

Don't get all defensive because he's just confirmed (again) what we were saying in that thread the other day, the one where we all exagerated his defensive issues.
I think Mark is in such a frothy GlenJo frenzy, he doesn't know who he's quoting or talking to.
I thought he was tossing it back cos he knows I usually champion Skrtel.
He should never be played at left back, he can't tackle with his left foot. He's had to go to ground with his wrong foot countless time so far this game.
Yeah, cos he doesnt make errors on the right.

He doesn't. I agree.

Do you?
I thought you were trying to balance out some of the hype Agger gets at times. At least I've believed you when you've said that.
As for Johnson today, he's been good enough bar that one moment. It was a shithouse challenge and an awful moment, but mistakes happen. As I said earlier, I'd point the finger at Skrtel and the entire defence as well. Where were they? They have to expect balls to come in every now and again and for the last couple seasons I'd bet on us conceding rather than our defence bailing the midfield / fullbacks out.
I'm not a fanboy of anyone in particular in the side, I just genuinely call it as I see it. I think Johnson is a decent player, who yes, does make mistakes from time to time, but overall is a worthwhile asset. And if we're going to get into the habit of calling players out when they do make mistakes, let's be fair and do it across the board and not just with players we have agenda against / don't rate / dislike.
I named three players, two i don't have agendas against. doh.
