I must say I think I'm with Vlad on this one Oncey.
It annoys me constantly that all the work, the tackles won and the passes made by Lucas are constantly ignored because (instructed to or not) he sits back most of the time. I could not believe it took until your "minute by minute" post for someone to mention the fact he not only scored but somehow got in there and took the ball off the line at the close of the half.
Having said all that I thought he was passed by for much of that half. He really did take his goal very well; the run, the body control as he came to the keeper and the composure right through it was very good and Torres would have been lauded for it. He clearly relished it and was just buzzing for the rest of the half and into the second. However, he didn't have an assist and didn't dominate midfield by any stretch so a 9 looks a little over the top IMO.
As for Torres - he was utter rubbish for much of that first half and yet I simply didn't care. Came out in the second half in the same mood but scored two goals; that's what he does and that's why you play him.
