He was fucking gash last season, but in the last month he's been brilliant, and has added all the things to his game that were missing - passing, goal threat, and wanting to beat a man again. He really is a key player now if he can keep this up.
Maybe he was worried the boss was going to buy someone for his position in january.

when sturridge is back could we play with all four ? sterling, sturridge ,coutinho and suarez ? that would leave just 2 mids in i guess henderson and gerrard . Would that be enough in there ?

Technically we could, in a 4231 - with Sturridge up front, Suarez in behind with Sterling & Coutinho either side.

I reckon that would be our "going for it" formation though.

Absolutely. I was at the Norwich game and thought he was just ordinary.
He's been on the up ever since and is really startring to fulfil the promise. I'd love to see him performing like this regularly.

If he sharpens up his finishing and keeps improving his crossing and final pass then he will be a little beast of a player, you would expect these things to improve, theres no reason why they shouldn't improve.

That ball through to Henderson was top class, its nice to see he has things like that in his locker.

It was right after he signed his contract in December(?) his performances fell right away.

He went crap as soon as he signed that deal didn't he? Probs busy hitting women with bottles of cristal and driving aston martins into bins and stuff. But whatever has happened to him is ace. He's been damn good lately and I was having the same convo last night... who is gonna make way for Sturridge? Can't change the formation as it's really working well, so Sturridge is going to have to fit in either side of Suarez, and right now it would be for Coutinho. World class options. Mad innit.
