Since his future at Inter is not looking very good, will you take him back at LFC?

Personally, I would if it means Hodgson being sacked immediately. He's shown that he can get the team to play well in the premiership and getting the best out of Gerrard and Torres.

No. I think Rafa has lost some of his mojo and he needs to take a break from high-pressure environments.

He's a better manager than Roy but I wouldn't take him back.

We need to go down a different road with our next manager.

i find your question ridiculous and incredibly boring.

No. He is obviously a lot better than Roy but I can't stand his football.

I beg to differ. Roy just lost the best DM at the start of the season and hasn't had the millions of pounds to spend on a Keane or Aquilani. 2 great buys in January and we're back to top-4!

Just for my own peace of mind, do you think Budgie is a better manager than Benitez?

Wonderful, another rafa thread

Well it depends. If Hodgson gets fired and it's between Allardyce, Mclaren and Souness, I'd happily take Rafa back.

Rafa turned Liverpool into a Soap opera to quote Rafiagra, the team underwent a steady decline under him, needless rotation policy, poor buys, misplaced priorities - cup comps over league and was on the brink of losing the dressing room. Let Roy be judged at the end of winter transfer window!

Id say if we're in the top 7 by new year and still have a chance for 4th, Roy should finish the season and then we can get someone like Rijkaard.

An understandable view, but the price we'd pay is giving him a vote on the January transfers, and that's a risk I'd prefer not to take.

Hodgson will have his say but Comolli and Werner will make the final decision.
Its obvious we need a striker and maybe a pacey winger.
They wont take any massive risks.
N'Zogbia and Santa Cruz would be decent and quite cheap buys

Henry said that he appointed Comolli without consulting Hodgson. Considering that statement, I am not really sure how much power Hodgson has in the transfer decision making. Of course, Commolli and JWH are going to say that Hodgson has the final decision making power. I think they are just towing the party line. They really cannot say, he is going to sacked sometime soon and therefore will have no input in the transfer market, can he ;D

I want us to be sending our feelers out for the next young hotshot manager, with Dalglish taking over from Roy ASAP.

Actually, he lost all of me...

On the subject of possible transfer targets, I don't think N'Zogbia would come cheap. The Toon aren't in a hurry to let him go.

Do they still own him?

Wigan are a selling club, but they do seem to get very good fees for their players, and as I've said all along with the whole N'Zogbia thing, I just don't think he'll be worth the £14M-£16M which Wigan will be looking for.

Never go back.

I think Rafa's time had come, and it's interesting reading the Ged thread, because I think Houllier made the mistake of lingering around for a season too long. Rafa I think went at just the right time, and if he'd been here now, I suspect that the bitterness towards Ged that some people have would be equally as prevalent in regard to Rafa.

(Obviously there are some who are already like that, but it's mainly a minority)
