Maybe he should have stayed at Napoli where he was doing ok, and the owner was 100% behind him? He went to an impossible situation - following a hugely successful and popular manager (like he did when he went to Inter) and it was just never gonna work out.
 
Football as a whole has become a farcical circus....

Why anyone would want to get into management (apart from the money) is beyond me..... How can any manager build a team / legacy anymore.

They can't. If the players want him sacked then he will be sacked even if he won the league last season. Player power will always win.

Nonsense not for his record (Mourinho didn't win the league his 1st year in charge), but for the fact his way of handling players is vastly different from Ancelotti, whom the players loved and wanted to play for. They needed a manager like that and the constant clashes means that the Madrid hierarchy had to pick the players or Rafa ...

I doubt this is his last opportunity at a 'big' team ...
