To be fair I think the fans were ten times more nervous than the players. The players kept attacking attacking and attacking and kept their energy level up by focusing on that. The fans, just like Mancini are left with no impact at all on the result.... It was a bizzare match, and how QPR got two goals without trying to score was crazy.
It is probably a little bit like a plane loosing the enginepower. The pilots are busy with their drills trying to restart them while the passengers are shit nervous as they can't do anything....

To be honest this isn't true.
The passengers wouldn't have a clue that the engines weren't powered, especially with the technology to quieten an engine and making the cabin sound proof. (And no the aircraft won't suddenly drop out of the sky). The pilots wouldn't inform the passengers until the very last moment so that they can spend more time resolving the situation, to stop any mass hysteria amongst the passengers and to give the air stewards more time to get prepared.
The passengers will be glued to the movie, drinking their G&T completely unawares.
