TBF I've not seen onuoha, so can't comment. Which TV is he pundit for?
Upon retiring from playing Onouha has successfully made the transition into the media world and has worked as a pundit for the BBC and BT Sport.

Just a quick Google (some of these from Bluemoon, not all, who obviously love him!) :

Onuoha (calling Richards out for being hypocritical) then stated: “I am here to tell the truth. I have had enough of you (Micah Richards) getting on this platform and talking nonsense. You are the same as Son. It’s just part of football (Son’s antics).”

First time seeing him as a pundit tonight and I'm incredibly impressed with him. It's always been known he is a very intelligent man with a silky smooth voice and seems so relaxed too.

Obviously a very bright, articulate guy.

He's fucking brilliant. His comments tonight have been relevant, intelligent, assured and insightful. Clearly knows his onions.

Nedum Onuoha is much more preferable as a pundit to Micah he's totally unbiased compared to others out there too and gives an in depth summary, he's very articulate

Not exactly a great debut for Grealish.
I first mentioned Grealish on this forum in 2014 and first saw him in 2013 (on loan at Notts Co) and predicted he would become a fantastic player. Having said that, I don't like the player he has become, he has the potential to be world class but IMO is he is way off fulfilling this potential.

When I saw him (as a 17/18 year old) he was far more dynamic, and that dynamism, added to his natural ability and vision excited me and made me think he was something special.

It now appears to me that the adulation he has received in recent seasons has gone to his head and the dynamism has completely gone. He now strolls around for much of time clearly under the impression that he only need 5 or 6 "dynamic moments during the game" and his skillset will achieve the rest. Chris Waddle, LeTissier and Ballotelli all had/have this same attitude. They all cruised through games and would go missing in games regularly instead of trying to be involved for 90 minutes.

If Grealish worked really hard (like Giggs, Mané, Iniesta etc) then he still has time to become a huge star but hopefully he will continue with this lethargic attitude.

BTW I know that Grealish ran more Km per game than any other Villa player last season but I also know what I see. A lot of his kilometres covered are in the wrong areas, at the wrong times and without the required urgency.

Good insight but I don’t think you could ever level not working for the team at him. You’d simply don’t clock that much distance strolling!

Spot on

The paragraph you seem to have missed is this one —

Gini setting the World alight for PSG:

Georginio Wijnaldum, 3 – Very little meaningful effect on the game which largely passed him by in his hybrid left-sided/central midfield role. Anonymous in the second half.

*bites tongue*

I really like Micah Richards. Everyone else is either really serious or full of dad jokes. Micah says what he sees and isn't arsed if he's wrong. I'm not saying he's great or a boss analyst or anything but he lightens up the show, which is mostly moaning old men. Souness and Keane are miserable old cunts and Lineker tryhard Bob Monkhouse act is pure cringe. The only ones who seem to still have love for the game are Richards, Neville and Carra. The rest should be fucked off for new blood.

"Across the entire season, Southampton workhorse James Ward-Prowse has covered a league-topping 334.6km - the equivalent of running eight marathons or the distance from St Mary's Stadium to Paris as the crow flies."

Googled that after your post. I knew I thought he was great but didn't know that.

I'm also strangely fascinated by, and vaguely jealous of, his very geometrical hair. He should give Grealish hair lessons

Galatasarys Marcao was sent off today for heading and throwing punches….at his own teammate!

I did. It makes zero since. He runs for team. It just not effective in Pesam’s view. Strolling around the pitch will never ever result in the most distance covered.

That’s not the point that’s being made.

German Super Cup tonight between BVB and Bayern at Dortmund's home ground.

Dortmund are without Zagadou Hummels Can T.Hazard Meunier Brandt and Guerreiro.

Think they've come down with a bit of Liverpolitis.

Devastating counter by Bayern 2-0

Lewa's cheeky dummy was class & Muller is behind for a tap in. What a player.

Mamma mia Reus with an absolute wordly.

Holy shit, Dortmund just shot himself in the arse.....shocking pass intercepted bounces straight to Lewa who makes no mistake 3-1.

Haha I see this and then check the score and of course Bayern thrashed Dortmund
Game was much closer than score line suggested and Dortmund were missing 5-6 players, Dortmund had better chances, they fucked up bad at the back especially for the 3rd…Bayern didn’t have to do a lot to get their goals.

Where are we talking how the team that just beat Spurs in the Europa Conference were beaten by Larne last week.

If only that first leg in Portugal in the last round hadn’t gone so unfairly for the Inver Park Legends!!!!
