Can't find the thread where we said where we reckoned we'd be before the summer, but I reckon it's time to update it.

Given the ins-and-outs, where do you realistically reckon we'll end up?

I think we could crack Top 3, and with luck on our side who knows what else.

What say you?

Whoever finishes above City will win it. Realistically I see us in 3rd, above the Chavs and behind both Manc teams, with Arse really struggling for top 6. Ditto Spurs.

I think given the ins-and-outs, we're in a stronger position than them. (The Gooners)

Plus I think the loss of major players will dent their (already vulnerable) mental fortitude. I'm fairly confident we can pip them to 4th at a canter, and quietly optimistic that if the Chavs struggle (and it's a definite if) we might be able to capitalise.

That could all change if we lose Luis and Stevie to injury for long periods though

I think we look better than Chelsea so I'd say third. But that doesn't mean we aren't capable of finishing 1st or 5th.

I know everyone is creaming over Citeh at the moment, me included, but I can see that all falling apart at some point.

I personally believe this season is about who can get most points from the mid level teams and we just lost two points against Sunderland at HOME.

I'll be the first to say that Oncey and his brigade are right about us winning the league this season, IF we manage to beat Spurs and Stoke away.

For that theory to work it is to assume that all of the top clubs would beat each other at home or draw with each other every time.

So if Arsenal were to pick up dramatically and become contenders again very quickly then that draw against Sunderland would essentially be cancelled out wouldn't it? Alternatively beating one of the other top clubs at their place would have a similar result
