Pre Match Pre Match - Man City (H) - Sun 16:00

Not really. He did well but also made a couple of big mistakes and has been poor in both showings this terms. Fans are fickle. Bradley wasn’t going to make by the word of some quarters until Weds night. A great game next game out and Quansah will be raved about again.
No he hasn’t been poor. 1 mistake doesn’t account for a poor showing. He was a shout for motm before Brighton’s first and he was very good against West Ham too, anyone using the OG to undermine his performance that day is a dunce. It’s like saying last season we should’ve buried him under the rubble after his costly giveaway at old trafford, came back and still put in boss performances. Should never have lost his place that few weeks in April where we lost to Atalanta, Palace and Everton.

I think the defence might be a slight worry, but everywhere else we’re in a great position. Our midfield will boss the game, and with the forwards in form, they’ll take the chances when they come. Add Anfield in full voice and Pep’s nerves starting to show, and I can't see anything but a decent win for us.

3-1.

He was awful (like a few others in the first game) and his head was gone at the end vs Brighton before being hooked. His confidence would be shot.

I'm not usually superstitious but the amount of pundits I've heard the last week saying how they can't even imagine how City will get a result against us is really freaking me out.
Ya it’s like they’ve been watching football for 5 mins.

Could very easily be 5 pts to City and 6 to Arsenal Sunday night. Its football and Citty are still creating heaps.

Alisson
Trent
Gomez
vvd
Robbo
Grav
Macca
Jones
Gakpo
Diaz
Salah

Nunez, szobo and quansah to come on if needed. Quansah for trent with gomez moving to rb to ease trent in.

we barely beat southampton a week ago, like slot says there are no easy games in the PL and if there were they’re definitely not against the defending champions.

there’s every chance we have a patched up defence tomorrow and their XI will probably be comprised of half a billion pounds worth of players

All of a sudden our bench looks very thin. Lets say quansah covers konate. That leaves gomez to cover the entire back line. With 2 matches a week for the foreseeable we cant rotate properly at all and will surely suffer more injuries.

Needs more magic from Arne....

I don’t think Quansah will play today but i expect him to be trusted in the others. First league start since the first game up against Haaland would be pretty wild.

How long is Tsimi out for? We now have very little back up. LB is the biggest worry, as Robbo simply can’t play every game til Jan. he’s already showing his slow down doing 1 game a week.

Back after the derby.

Do we have any yoots that might provide some cover?

The obvious solution is playing Quansah thus allowing Gomez to cover at FB.

Good or not, these players may well find themselves involved over the Christmas period.
