We did look more solid and we had a few good moment in attack but the attack is living on scraps
Mo should’ve scored two. Gakpo is slower than me after 8 pints and a Donner calzone. Can’t blame the starting midfield.
The thing that is worrying to me is how much worse we look when some of the former established starters come back into the game as subs.
The young players not good enough to beat Brighton.

I don't know what Fabinho did last summer, but we sure as hell better find out and ban the rest of our players from ever doing it. Guys went from one of the best holding midfielders in the world to looking like a pub player.

Mane and Mo were never really efficient finishers but we used to give them loads of opportunities to have the ball and try things. We don't do that for our forwards as much anymore.
Elliot did all his best stuff coming into the middle but looked lost out wide on the left. Gakpo spent as much time playing in midfield as he did trying to create or score goals.
I don't blame the starting midfielders but it's still not right in there.
a) Trent cannot be left along against remotely talented LWs - or he'll be skinned 9/10. Young Hendo solves this issue. Current hendo should be sold for any value offered.
b) Fabinho was a world class DM last year. He's finished. Badger Tits should play every game until season's end.
c) Elliot would be far far far far better behind two strikers. I just wish Klopp would give him the chance there - because in any position where 'speed' helps will limit his ability to contribute.
d) Salah... guys 17 goals!!! Whatever, that contract fucked us. If PSG offer anything remotely decent, sell.
e) Gakpo looked ok - if the team ever stabilizes, he should be a decent player but I am shocked we spent 37 million on a LWF when even Stevie Wonders sees we ...

Up until recently I'd have agreed but those changes he made were made on the bus on the way down to the south coast. He's lost it.
