Not sure why people are ready to legitimise any of the cries of manc idiots?
I don’t disagree that we smashed their bus but I also don’t disagree that they should stop crying about it as an excuse. I don’t disagree that there is a Liverpool bias in the media (and regardless of what you say @Judge Jules - you’re wrong if you think it’s not there) but it certainly doesn’t affect ours or anyone else’s on-field performance, so what does it matter if I agree or not? Who cares?
And finally, by banging on about FFP again just now you just proved once again that we do chat shit about it. I don’t disagree that it’s wrong but if you’re ready to tell City fans to shut up about bus smashing then you should do the same about FFP.
We’re top of the league for all the right reasons. I don’t buy in to any of the conspiracy bollocks. But there are legitimate “observations” about football (that are ultimately meaningless to game outcomes) that we can acknowledge and then laugh in their faces.

Are City fans only upset that all their top players turned pundits from yesteryears are only experienced & knowledgeable to comment on the lower leagues - where they spent most of their time playing?

A Liverpool connection (which those guys obv.have) doesn't automatically mean pro-LFC bias. For that charge to stick there would have to be an excess of pro-LFC comment in what they say which was undeserved by what they were actually commenting on. I don't see or hear that from any of them that I can think of.

That’s because your a Liverpool fan

I'd hardly call a two line response to your comment about FFP "banging on", nor would I say that particular talking point is irrelevant to onfield performances. The key difference between a discussion about that, which is what I imagine most of it is most of the time, and their fans' claiming an agenda against them is that their is demonstrable evidence of one. Also, even though they've flouted those rules and spent what they've spent, we've never used it as a barrometer of our team's ceiling/ability and where we were going.

The only legit observation I can see from them recently is VAR is shit, and even that they try and contrive all of the bad decisions against them into this larger conspiracy narrative. As I said, Manc idiots.

Someone needs to beat Liverpool at Anfield.
Was in Pool for work almost a year ago and the whole city genuinely believe that they’ll never lose a game there.
Having that sort of belief in your team makes me sick.

Klopp has really found the most deluded and gullible creatures in football and turned it into an army. He could overtake the world with 300 scousers.

Why is belief such a problem,Klopp said he would turn us into believers and he did.

300 Scousers? I think I`ve seen that film Gerard Butler was brilliant in it.

[article]Fuck this.. I’m fed up with this bollocks.. the constant media love in with them.. they aren’t as good as we have been these last few seasons. Haven’t got the bottle to play full out for every domestic title and have had way more than their fair share of luck with both injuries and especially VAR.

Adam Lalana just said they are the best team in the world.

Let’s shut him the fuck up by winning the league cup, FA cup and CL this season... then there will be absolutely no doubt who the best club in the world is.

oh and take back the Prem next season.

I’m fed up with them.. they aren’t even THAT good.

Hahahahaha full on meltdown on the fume.

What scousers can never understand is that it's not just the winning that makes you a great team, it's the way you win.

Toffee TV is poetry in motion.
They want rid of all thier players.

Oh it's a Grand Old Team to support!

I can once again browse (limited page views only) the blasted wastelands of my favourite non-Liverpool forum, so I thought I'd pop in and see if the "pinch me it's really happening" Ancelotti-inspired optimism has abated somewhat, following the successive defeats against City and us, or that they have been seen as mere blips, and nothing to worry about really, it's all a work in progress.

Let's take a look at one of the top threads and see!

Everton's Players: how disgusted with them are you right now?

This does not bode well.
But wait, there's a poll! Let's go with cold, hard data, rather than subjective hyperbole. What are those numbers?

97.3% Disgusted
2.7% Not disgusted

OK then, pretty conclusive. But why? Well, The Athletic (that sports website which poached a whole load of big-name journos from the national press and charge a subscription fee to read it) has apparently posted a story claiming that there was a bit of a....er...contretemps...in the Bitters dressing room at half-time, with Big Dunc and Carlo rather displeased about the performance, singling out a few "senior" players. A few of whom politely disagreed, and seemed to point the finger at Don Carlo's tactics instead.

Yes, really.

This, to put it mildly, has not gone down well on Grand Old Team, who are usually patient types, quite slow to anger.

I legitimately hate them all. I don't use the word hate lightly here, I 100% mean it

Golly. But this poster is not alone, fellow Forumite "the binman chronicles "also thinks everything is rubbish:

Way past disgust and anger, I'm disappointed and can't bear to look at them. I don't know if I'll ever be able to love them again.

Luckily, not everyone is disgusted.

I was disgusted by most of them a long time ago, largely replaced by apathy and fatigue unfortunately.

Yes, that's much better. But what does Carlo need to change?

His underpants - what a state they must be in after that terrifying experience

The last 25 years.

Its like Groundhog day, another rebuilding job. Maybe we should start with sacking Unsworth

"Brieverton" takes a more measured, methodical approach:

He needs to change one player at a time with someone worthy of the shirt. And what we pay for them.
He needs to do it about 18 times

But how much can he really change? Some are unsure about his options.

He's not exactly spoilt for choice, he'll just be swapping a turd for another turd.

As ever, not everyone is in the mood for serious football discussion...

I think he should change gender

His job . Quickly. While he still retains some respect for his achievements. Before he has been Evertoned.
The process has already begun. Get out while you can Carlo!

If I was Carlo, I’d change clubs, he’s on a hiding to nothing here
if not change his browsing favourites to GoT as there’s so many experts in here

Others break down the problems into more manageable chunks, which is very thoughtful:

Mentality
Midfield
Desire
Team spirit
Pace
Physicality
Clinical

"Librarian" seems to have suffered recent head trauma

I seen a movie where this team was shocking, I mean even worse that us on Sunday and they managed to turn it around big time in the end and beat the snot outta this other team whose captain was a real jerk.

Lots of work to do then, Don Carlo. But it wouldn't be a GOT update with a little look at my favourite divisive figure in the Bitter fanbase, everyone's favourite skater-boy cool scally....TOM DAVIES. What's the latest on Tom, then? Does he just need a run in the team?

I would give Tom zero more games and thus stop this incessant stream of excuses for his inability to pass, shoot or do anything one might expect of a PL midfielder

He's surely a better bet than "Sniderlin" or whatever nickname poor old Siggy has got? SURELY?

He’s crap but he isn’t Schneiderlin/Sigurdsson/Delph levels of crap.

All the stuff his fans say he does are myths, you see people saying he doesn’t hide, puts more effort in than others and creates chances by playing 1-2s around the box all of which are untrue.
He’s an awful footballer and I really can’t see how people see otherwise.

Wears his socks dead low though lads

He is always one step behind everyone else. That's okay if you have great reactions but he hasn't. His passing is woeful too , oh and his fitness is questionable

And with that, my limited views of threads was over! A bientot!
