Didn't know where to post this, but who is he talking about when he's saying living off a goal against Holland 30 years ago?

I saw two vids of that interview yesterday, and have to say he comes across as very straight and to the point. I hope we never treat any of our players that have made such an impact at our club in the same way that united treat some of their best serving players. They sound like a right cunt of an organisation to play for behind the scenes.

I think you’ll find lots of our ex players feel they were treated poorly on departure including during our golden era. I sometimes think it’s because players and club management have a completely different view of the importance of players.

Given United are playing Leicester on Saturday I will be hoping those of you that frequent Red Cafe etc report back the gems when they realise Leicester are superior and they have got little hope of top 6, hey top 8 may be a stretch if Neverton wake up

Bluefume on last night's testimonial

Premier league all stars have brought sod all travelling fans

Won’t be talked about in the press tomorrow, of course

What? WHAT?

"Away fans" at a testimonial? That has got to be a joke, not even Fume is that galactically retarded

Bet £25 on a scum win. If it happens you'll get reasonable odds and win some - They will probably draw so if you can bet £5 on a draw or maybe if your brave 1-1 has good odds on a perfect score. If Leicester win then it is a win win! Because then we all get to go over to Redcafe and laugh our arses off. Either way. It's a win win. I love weekends like these. 🙂

EDIT: I'm not meaning to blow my own trumpet but I'm up by about £70 from my usual £50 stake at the start of the season. Citeh's draw threw me off but of course I didn't care about that!

United press conference, loads of injuries

Rashford
James Mata Greenwood
Matic McTominay
Rojo Maguire Lindelöf Young
deGea

And we're supposed to be a big club, makes you wanna cry.

Can we overcome the odds and battle for a draw at home to Leicester City

---

Looks like a team that we would usually put for the Carabao cup...

---

Don't know whether to laugh or cry

---

It's tragic

---

That's grim. It will be worse when Andreas starts ahead of Greenwood. Ed has caused this mess by not backing Ole this summer. Fuvking joke.

Here in Norway we operate with what we call "Tippekupongen" which has been a tradition since the early 70's or so. You are given 12 games from England (PL and Championship) and you need to have them all correct (prices for 10, 11 and 12 correct). Of course there are systems and you can grade some games. It is quite fun way to Place Your bet ad the "neutral" press allways have their coverage on how Your betting should be for the coming weekend. This week I saw some of them suggested starght Home win for United as Clear favourites, while you should cover the away win for city with a potensial draw. I really hope they are right but I would not put my money there!!!

What won them that initial run was one thing only, namely that they had someone other than Mourinho in charge. It was never about Solskjaer, as any fule no, and their getting panicked into giving him the permanent job after Zidane went back to Madrid could set them back years, as if their existing problems weren't enough.

My heart pumps purple p!$$ for them.

It really is a joy witnessing their demise but unless we do what they did when we went through ours it will matter shit because they will not go 30 years without winning the league.

You may be right, but they went a quarter of a century winning bugger all before Ginsoak came along, and how likely are they to get another like him?

That said, I entirely agree we have to concentrate on our own performance, make sure we keep the Klopp wave going and win things consistently again. It would be great to see them continue to struggle, but that's a side issue at best.
