Am I the only one who's slightly worried about the prospect that Sanchez stays in London with the Gunners?

I mean in Sanchez, Özil, Lacazette, Walcott, Ramsey and Giroud they have a potentially very potent strike force. And with new signing Kolasnic and Mustafi and Xhaka with the first difficult season out of their way - and no Champions League to drain them - they could be a real force in the league.

I'd rather see them lose him (and I still think that's likely BTW) but either way they'll still be affected by their lack of cojones when things get difficult. As I do now, I'll respect them but I won't fear them.

As if it wasn't going to be a shit fight next season with Chelsea, Spurs, Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd & us all needing to get in to the top 4.

Chuck in Everton, Southampton, Newcastle, Leicester & West Ham and you've got a pretty competitive top half.

One of those "big" teams is going to have a disaster of a season.

Dani Alves apparently signing a 2yr deal with PSG. Guess that will force Man City to splash the cash on Walker?

Well, he offers less of them (a lot less unfortunately) away from home, but fair comments overall. I did say "might" and I'm not saying Sigurdsson would definitely get in, but I think he's talented enough to be in with a chance whereas I don't see most of Everton's signings making that final step.

I don't think Gini's defensive contribution or effort is any less away from home. He just happened not to score in the away games for 2 seasons in a row (although he scored regularly away in Holland), but that doesn't mean less effort, or at least I didn't notice anything like this. Those frustrating games where people say he "disappeared" (usually against teams who defend deep) were just as likely to be at home as away.

The Rodriguez deal is only an option to buy according to the BBC. Ten million euros for 2 years of him is a great deal for them.

Kingsley Coman (Juventus, £18.4m)

That seems very reasonable. Was there an agreement in place after his loan spell or something?

Yeah. Official report when he went to Bayern on loan in Aug 2015:
[article]
Juventus Football Club can today announce that Kingsley Coman has joined Bayern Munich on a two-season loan deal for a fee of €7 million, to be paid in two installments.

The agreement also provides Bayern Munich with the option to make the move made permanent at any time up until 30 April 2017, with the price for the player’s definitive acquisition fixed at €21 million.

Thats a decent wedge.

L'Equipe report that Dani Alves will earn €14 million per season at PSG

United in negotiations to sign Perisic for around £45M. He's been good lately, but personally I prefer Salah. It's not a good sign that he didn't adjust in Germany and only played well in Serie A.

Big fan of Perisic. Excellent off either foot, works hard and is a classy player. Hope they don't get him.

Yeah 10/10 out of 10 I prefer the idea of a £70m striker ahead of a £70m cb ,sorry VVD, hello Auba
