Ludogorets are a fun team to watch – they pushed Madrid to the limit and were playing and attacking without fear. If any of our players think the trip to Bulgaria will be an easy stroll, they will regret it.

I imagine Ludo, Basel and LFC will lose both home and away to Real so it isn't a key factor in us qualifying for the last 16. Whereas a point would be of substantial assistance on the assumption neither Ludo nor Basel will take any points from them.

I don't think Real will finish with 18 points in this group. If they beat us home and away, they will have 1st place sewn up and will likely field 2nd string teams against Basel and Ludogorets and possibly lose points. That's exactly the scenario we have to avoid.

We need a draw minimum to be comfortable last night. The annoying thing was that Basel were there for the taking and had we been a bit more on it we would've beaten them relatively easily. They came out in the 2nd half knowing the game was theirs and that's fucking hard to take.

It's going to be a fight to get out of this group now and given we were gifted an easy draw... pretty disappointing.
