I'd happily see Trent in midfield. I think his inversion has been part of the challenges that we are seeing with our RCB as it requires a lot more from that player. Quansah hasn't had to play much with Trent. Konate typically does that, and he struggles.

At the start of the season there was a strong argument that Trent in current CM experience would be 4th or 5th best CM but Szobo has been space jammed and Jones is still not quite up to speed. That position is up for grabs.

In that case why not stick with 4-3-3 but give the two CM's more freedom than in a typical Klopp system:
