Anyone still suggesting that lucas should still have a future as a Liverpool player, after the shitness that he has produced on a remarkably consistent basis, needs to seriously consider putting on the infamous headwand.

Lucas hasn't a future as a Liverpool player IMO because Rodgers isn't playing with a defensive midfielder. It is a big difference between a DM and a defensive playmaker, a Xabi. It is all about the system. Lucas isn't playing out of position but he is forced to do a job he isn't good enough doing, acting as a playmaker.

If we get another manager, who knows. Depends what system that manager plays. We are leaking a lot of goals because many players is forced to do a job they shouldn't do. You can take Ings for example. He is a goal poacher. He is forced to play out wide. Firmino a number 10, forced out wide. Just a few examples.

Rodgers isn't the right manager for any of them. Even Benteke is forced to do a job he shouldn't do.
