well you've yet to answer my question mark. why use 8 million as an example? why use pellagrino voronin morientes and josemi as your examples?
and now you want me banned for pulling u up on that. grow up. u were out to disguise rafa's fuck ups in the transfer market.

Well why not? They're amongst the most mentioned. When mentioning fuckups, why did you not bother to respond to the mention of United's costly fuck ups?
Everyone makes mistakes in the transfer market, and the successes for us (and most of the top teams) far outweigh the failures. I was just pointing out that the majority of our failures have been relatively low cost, which is true.
Babel was a kid, which is always a gamble (see Anderson and Nani), we'll never know the ins and outs of the Keane mess because so many rumours have surrounded the whole move, the only other relatively high cost fuck up was Dossena. Anything else has been neither here nor there. Bellamy came in and did a reasonable job for us and plugged a gap and was sold on for much the same amount, while Crouch was a success eventually and we made a great return on the lad.
We've still signed players of the calibre of Johnson, Torres, Alonso, Masher, Kuyt, Yossi, Skrtel, Agger, Aurelio, Arbeloa and Garcia. While Aquilani could yet prove a big hit, and Lucas, N'Gog and Insua have time on their side to maybe do well.
No one's saying he's been an out and out success in the transfer market, but he's been more successful than you care to give him credit for, but then, like your view on every issue surrounding this manager, there's no surprise there.
