From what I've read here - that's the reason he left ... He seems to have been paid well (ranging from 60-80k, pending reports) and was close with Pepe, Torres, Kuyt etc ... Have you heard that he was long gone by choice?

I mean Rafa was long gone. I mean that Yossi was asked to stay after Rafa had left.
Rafa dropped him on the last game against Hull and told him to get on the phone to his agent instead of warming up, as he wouldn't be playing for us again - so of course he must have been gutted and was looking around. However, as soon as Rafa left he asked if he'd rather have a new contract here and he said no.
