Moyes Making Excuses Early?

What exactly was his point point? What did he hope to achieve?

Did he hope for this:

David - 'Is this legit?'
Spokesman' 'Yes, but we get your point and have changed those fixtures, you now have Hull, Palace, Fulham, Villa and Everton at home'
David - 'Cheers'

Give him a break...he is all new in the office, and when asking about his tasks one of the board members took him aside and told him what to do!

The idea was to establish in the authorities' minds the idea that ManUre have been unlucky, so they get favourable treatment from here on in, based on the fact that Ferguson was always doing the same. The trouble with that idea is that things went ManUre's way in Ferguson's time not because the authorities were persuaded by the argument but because they were sh!t-scared of Ferguson himself, who basically bullied the football establishment into submission. Now the old cnut's been sidelined, with a bit of luck it won't work any more (he says hopefully).

Utd have utd fans in almost every position of power in English football though.

So they may well continue to get that 'rub of the green'.

If they practically run English football, why did all the United power brokers give Moyes a shitty start ?

Do they want him to fail ?

Or is it just Fergie on his own influencing things?

Is it all a trick to make us think they don't hold influence?

Regardless of the conspiracy angle, his bollocks have well and truly been bitten. And it'll get further bruising as the new season is upon us.

It is all Ferguson's pulling the string behind the scene so that he may retain power clandestinely by undermining Moyes. That is my conspiracy theory for the day.
