Whats not to like about him?
We are skint, and he's the best full back we can get this summer with the situation we're in. 6 mill £ for this lad is a great signing.
He's quick, strong, good header of the ball and a great defender. All of those attributes we missed last season in our own full back.
Insua had potential, but we had to play another left back infront of him, because he couldn't defend. That says it all..
People need to wake up and smell the empty bank accounts. For this price, getting in a player with PL experience and who will improve us greatly at the back, is a very good signing. End off.
The alternatives; Bridge - crap and always injured. Konchesky - decent but not good enough.
The rest are unproven in the Premiership, and tbh I've had it with decent players that can't make the step up. With the likes of Dossena springing to mind.

Ah well it looks promising then, I reckon it's defo about the takeover considering the text i received last week saying there would be an announcement at the end of the week. Also all ground tours have been cancelled tmrw.

Recent history suggests its normally done by a press release, it maybe to unveil the new players that have signed, i think it will be this but also news of the takeover.
