It's extremely high though I don't think it's that high overall, maybe for those that summit. I vaguely remember reading that the mortality rate for K2 is 10 times higher than that of Everest. But that's not in winter, K2 is the only 8,000m+ mountain never summited in winter.Isn't the mortality rate for K2 climbers something like 40%, or similarly ridiculous?
