If Lucas does his trick of giving away free kicks again & Allen doesn't perform as he did when first arrived that midfield could easily be overrun.

I like that Allen is preferred to Henderson. United are slow starters, so with Allen we have a good chance to get in control in the first half, to control possession and create chances for Suarez. We'll need Hendo later, when United turn on 2nd gear as they undoubtedly will in the 2nd half.
The only thing I don't like about this team is the absense of Suso even on the bench. Borini can't possibly be match-fit for a massive game like this. Hope he doesn't play, because this gamble will not pay off.

Utd don't press hard, so this might be the sort of game that suits Allen, and allows him to pull the strings without someone in his face the whole time. We've got a bench that allows BR to change things if it isn't going our way, and if nothing else he has demonstrated he isn't afraid to change things if plan A isn't working.
