Not really. We are just as fickle and inconsistent as we've been for years, bar the odd occasion when we put up something of a title fight until the crunch came. When we grind out a win in such games as we've had this week then I might think we've taken a step up, but two draws away to the top teams is nothing other mid-table teams can't manage over the course of season.

Unlucky but we also need to stop making it too easy for the opposition.

Rodgers in my book made a schoolboy error today. Never split up your CB pairing late in a tight game unless absolutely necessary. Proved costly today.

Right, the same Enrique that was horrendously off the pace the last 10 mins he was on. City were attacking our left side every time. He was clearly knackered after being out injured.
